     He was educated at Clifton College, Clifton, Bristol, England^G.⁴ He was a practising solicitor.¹

     Olive Christiana Lupton was born on 1 April 1881 at Rockland, Newton Park, Potternewton, Yorkshire, West Riding, England^G.^1,2 She was the daughter of Francis Martineau Lupton and Harriet Albina Davis.¹ She married Richard Noel Middleton, son of John William Middleton and Mary Asquith, on 6 January 1914 at Mill Hill Chapel, Leeds, Yorkshire, West Riding, England^G.² She died on 27 September 1936 at age 55 at 22 Clarendon Road, Leeds, Yorkshire, West Riding, England.^1,2
     From 6 January 1914, her married name became Middleton.¹

     John William Middleton was born on 11 February 1839 at St. George’s Terrace, Leeds, Yorkshire, West Riding, England.^1,3 He was the son of William Middleton and Mary Ward.¹ He married Mary Asquith, daughter of Joseph Asquith and Ellen Ward, on 27 August 1863 at Church of St. Peter, Leeds, Yorkshire, England.³ He died on 16 July 1887 at age 48 at Far Headingley, Leeds, Yorkshire, West Riding, England^G.¹
     He was a practising solicitor.¹

     Sir Archibald Young Gipps Campbell was baptised on 14 July 1872 at Hove, Sussex, England^G.² He was the son of Archibald Samuels Campbell of Auchenbreck and Mary Alice Gipps.² He married Frances Irene Young, daughter of Reverend Henry Savill Young and Rebecca Isabella Brewis, on 15 December 1910.¹ He died on 30 October 1957 at age 85.¹
     He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)¹ He was awarded the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve Officers’ Decoration (V.D.)¹ He was in the Indian Civil Service.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Star of India (C.S.I.)¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Indian Empire (K.C.I.E.)¹

     Mary Asquith was born on 15 December 1839 at George and Dragon Yard, Briggate, Leeds, Yorkshire, West Riding, England.^1,2 She was the daughter of Joseph Asquith and Ellen Ward.³ She married John William Middleton, son of William Middleton and Mary Ward, on 27 August 1863 at Church of St. Peter, Leeds, Yorkshire, England.² She died on 22 September 1889 at age 49 at Hope Cottage, Filey, Yorkshire, England.^1,2
     From 1876, her married name became Middleton.¹

     Frances Irene Young was the daughter of Reverend Henry Savill Young and Rebecca Isabella Brewis.² She married Sir Archibald Young Gipps Campbell, son of Archibald Samuels Campbell of Auchenbreck and Mary Alice Gipps, on 15 December 1910.¹ She died on 30 December 1967.¹
     From 15 December 1910, her married name became Campbell.¹

     Lt.-Col. Archibald Hugh Campbell was born in 1914.¹ He was the son of Sir Archibald Young Gipps Campbell and Frances Irene Young.² He married Mary Alison Young, daughter of Lt.-Col. Herbert Nugent Young and Alison Isabel Richmond, in 1940.¹ He died in 1981.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Signals.¹

     Lt.-Col. Herbert Nugent Young was born on 15 June 1882.² He was the son of Major Henry Pottinger Young.³ He married Alison Isabel Richmond on 11 August 1915 at Dunblane Cathedral, Dunblane, Perthshire, Scotland^G.³ He died on 25 October 1918 at age 36.²
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹

     Mary Alison Young is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Herbert Nugent Young and Alison Isabel Richmond.^2,3 She married Lt.-Col. Archibald Hugh Campbell, son of Sir Archibald Young Gipps Campbell and Frances Irene Young, in 1940.¹
     From 1940, her married name became Campbell.¹ She lived in 2003 at 24 Langside Drive, Comrie, Perthshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Archibald James Campbell was born in 1943.¹ He is the son of Lt.-Col. Archibald Hugh Campbell and Mary Alison Young.² He married Lorna Isobel Scott, daughter of John Scott, in 1976.¹ He and Lorna Isobel Scott were divorced in 1996.¹
     He lived in 2003 at 2 Parrs Head Mews, George Lane, Rochester, Kent, England^G.¹
