     Captain Evelyn Leonard Beridge Boothby was born on 4 May 1876.¹ He was the son of Captain Basil Charles Boothby and Emily Sarah Jebb.¹ He married, firstly, Esmé Frances Nevill Augusta Beauchamp, daughter of Sir Edward Beauchamp, 1st Bt. and Frances Mary Stephen, on 21 November 1905.¹ He married, secondly, Lucy Margaret Amy Gregory, daughter of Alfred Edward Gregory, in 1924.¹ He died on 14 January 1937 at age 60.²
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1916.¹

     Esmé Frances Nevill Augusta Beauchamp was the daughter of Sir Edward Beauchamp, 1st Bt. and Frances Mary Stephen.^1,2 She married Captain Evelyn Leonard Beridge Boothby, son of Captain Basil Charles Boothby and Emily Sarah Jebb, on 21 November 1905.¹ She died on 2 January 1913.¹
     From 21 November 1905, her married name became Boothby.¹

     Sir Edward Beauchamp, 1st Bt. was born on 12 April 1849.² He was the son of Reverend William Henry Beauchamp and Augusta Arnold.^2,3 He married, firstly, Frances Mary Stephen, daughter of James Stephen, on 20 July 1875.² He married, secondly, Betty Campbell Woods, daughter of Archibald Woods, on 2 June 1890.² He died on 1 February 1925 at age 75.²
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)² He was chairman of Lloyds between 1905 and 1913.² He was created 1st Baronet Beauchamp, of Grosvenor Place, Westminster [U.K.] on 27 June 1911.² He was vice-chairman of Lloyds between 1915 and 1916.²

     Esmé Janet Boothby was born on 14 December 1906.¹ She was the daughter of Captain Evelyn Leonard Beridge Boothby and Esmé Frances Nevill Augusta Beauchamp.¹ She died on 14 December 1977 at age 71, unmarried.¹

     Thomas Salisbury was baptised in 1761 at Giggleswick Church, England^G.² He was born in 1761 at Marshfield House, Settle, Yorkshire, England^G.² He was the son of Thomas Salisbury and Mary Lister.¹ He married Frances Webb, daughter of Francis Webb and Mary Garritt, on 7 September 1795 at Salisbury Cathedral, Salisbury, Wiltshire, England.³ He died on 5 April 1810 at Fordington, Dorset, England.³ He was buried on 12 April 1810 at St. Martin, Salisbury, Wiltshire, England.³
     He lived at Fordington, Dorset, England.³ He was a practising solicitor.³

     Frances Webb was born on 10 April 1775.² She was the daughter of Francis Webb and Mary Garritt.² She was baptised on 12 June 1775 at Stanway, Gloucestershire, England.² She married Thomas Salisbury, son of Thomas Salisbury and Mary Lister, on 7 September 1795 at Salisbury Cathedral, Salisbury, Wiltshire, England.² She died on 22 January 1862 at age 86 at Salisbury, Wiltshire, England.² She was buried on 28 January 1862 at St. Martin, Salisbury, Wiltshire, England.²
     From 7 September 1795, her married name became Salisbury.³

     Maria Susanna Stockenström was born on 25 October 1835.² She was the daughter of Sir Andries Stockenström and Elzabe Helena Maasdorp.² She married Sir Sidney Godolphin Alexander Shippard on 19 January 1864 at St. Stephens Church, Bayswater, London, England.² She died on 25 December 1870 at age 35 at Cape Town, Cape Province, South Africa.²
     From 19 January 1864, her married name became Shippard.¹
