     From 12 August 1834, her married name became Underwood.²

     He was Surgeon to the Manx Governor’s household.¹ He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹

     Isabella Anne Christian was born on 6 March 1817 at Ewanrigg Hall, Dearham, Cumberland, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of Deemster John Christian and Susanna Allen.¹ She married Reverend Herbert Taylor Howes, son of George Piggott Howes, on 3 September 1855.² She died on 17 February 1906 at age 88 at Willesden, London, England^G.¹
     In 1852 on the death of her father, Deemster John Christian, Isabella burned a vast quantity of family documents, a performance that she claimed occupied several days. “Undismayed by this tragedy the late Mrs William Bell Christian of Milntown set to work to record all that research could yeield about her husband’s family.”¹ From 3 September 1855, her married name became Howes.²

     Louisa Dorothy Christian was born on 13 January 1819 at Ewanrigg Hall, Dearham, Cumberland, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of Deemster John Christian and Susanna Allen.¹ She married Reverend Sir John William Henry Molyneux, 8th Bt., son of John Molyneux and Ella Young, on 21 April 1842 at Kirk Lezayre, Isle of Man^G.² She died on 15 February 1877 at age 58 at Sudbury, Suffolk, England^G.¹
     From 21 April 1842, her married name became Molyneux.¹

     Reverend Sir John William Henry Molyneux, 8th Bt. was baptised on 28 January 1819 at Ludford, Shropshire, England.² He was the son of John Molyneux and Ella Young.³ He married Louisa Dorothy Christian, daughter of Deemster John Christian and Susanna Allen, on 21 April 1842 at Kirk Lezayre, Isle of Man^G.⁴ He died on 5 March 1879 at age 60 at Sudbury, Suffolk, England^G.¹
     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)⁴ He was Hon. Canon of Ely Cathedral.¹ He was the Vicar at Sudbury, Suffolk, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Molyneux, of Castle Dillon, co. Armagh [I., 1730] on 24 January 1879.⁵

     Eliza Mellor was born on 28 February 1822 at Lymington, Hampshire, England^G.¹ She married Henry Taubman Christian, son of Deemster John Christian and Susanna Allen, on 24 May 1842 at Portsmouth, Hampshire, England^G.¹ She died on 24 April 1871 at age 49 at Dunstan Lodge, Cumberland, England^G.¹
     From 24 May 1842, her married name became Christian.¹

     Ewan John Christian was born on 10 May 1845 at Milntown, Lezayre, Isle of Man^G.¹ He was the son of Reverend William Bell Christian and Charlotte Elizabeth Brine.¹ He married Florence Trigg, daughter of Albert Trigg, on 22 April 1891 in a London, England marriage.¹ He died on 24 February 1898 at age 52 at Progreso, Mexico^G.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 91st Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the African Light Horse.¹ He fought in the Zulu War in 1879.¹ He was Commissioner of Police at Kimberley, South Africa^G.¹ He was an agent for a silver mine at Mexico^G.¹
