     Anne Lyell was the daughter of Charles Lyell of Kinnordy and Mary Beale.² She married Captain Gilbert Heathcote, son of Sir William Heathcote, 3rd Bt. and Frances Thorpe, in February 1809.¹ She died on 30 April 1854.¹
     From February 1809, her married name became Heathcote.³

     Elizabeth Mary Hillary was born on 19 November 1800 at Essex, England^G.² She was the daughter of Sir William Hillary and Frances Elizabeth Disney ffytch.¹ She married Christopher Richard-Preston, son of John Preston and Christiana Prichard, on 25 April 1818.² She died on 23 November 1853 at age 53.²
     From 25 April 1818, her married name became Richard-Preston.²

     Henry Temple, 2nd Vscount Palmerston was born on 4 December 1739.¹ He was the son of Hon. Henry Temple and Jane Barnard.¹ He married, firstly, Frances Poole, daughter of Sir Francis Poole, 2nd Bt. and Frances Pelham, on 6 October 1767.² He married, secondly, Mary Mee, daughter of Benjamin Thomas Mee, on 5 January 1783 at Bath, Somerset, England.² He died on 16 April 1802 at age 62.¹
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Temple, of Mount Temple, co. Sligo [I., 1723] on 10 June 1757.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Palmerston, of Palmerston, co. Dublin [I., 1723] on 10 June 1757.¹ He was educated at Clare Hall, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for East Looe between 1762 and 1768.² He held the office of a Lord of Trade from 1765 to 1766.¹ He held the office of Lord of the Admiralty between 1766 and 1777.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Southampton between 1768 and 1774.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Hastings between 1774 and 1780.² He held the office of Lord of the Treasury between 1777 and 1782.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Hastings between 1780 and 1784.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Boroughbridge between 1784 and 1790.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Newport, Isle of Wight between 1790 and 1796.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Winchester between 1796 and 1802.²
