     Violet Mary Hambro was born in 1884.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Everard Alexander Hambro and Gertrude Mary Stuart.² She married Everard Reginald Martin Smith, son of Martin Ridley-Smith and Emily Catherine Stuart, in 1906.¹ She died in 1965.¹
     From 1906, her married name became Smith. She was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)¹

     Eric Martin Smith was born in 1908.¹ He is the son of Everard Reginald Martin Smith and Violet Mary Hambro.¹ He married Dorothy Joan Surtees, daughter of Major Henry Siward Balliol Surtees. He married Elizabeth Mary Morrison, daughter of Lt.-Col. James Archibald Morrison and Hon. Mary Hill-Trevor, on 4 May 1940.² He died on 13 August 1951.
     He lived at Codicote Lodge, Hitchin, Hertfordshire, England.³ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)³ He was also known as Eric Martin Smith.⁴

     Margaret Hamilton is the daughter of Sir Thomas Hamilton.¹ She married Gideon Scott of Harden.¹
     Her married name became Scott.¹

     Mary Cecilia Smith was born in 1907.² She was the daughter of Everard Reginald Martin Smith and Violet Mary Hambro.³ She married Dennis John Charles Hill-Wood, son of Sir Samuel Hill-Wood, 1st Bt. and Hon. Rachel Anne Selina Decima Bateman-Hanbury, on 1 December 1932.¹ She died in June 1997.¹
     From 1 December 1932, her married name became Hill-Wood. She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hampshire in 1951.¹

     Pamela Violet Smith was born in 1911.¹ She is the daughter of Everard Reginald Martin Smith and Violet Mary Hambro.¹

     Barbara Vaughan is the daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir John Vaughan and Hon. Augusta St. John. She married Sir Henry Halford, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Henry Vaughan Halford, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Barbara St. John.
     Her married name became Halford.

     Vivien Elizabeth Mary Smith was born in 1920.¹ She is the daughter of Everard Reginald Martin Smith and Violet Mary Hambro.¹ She married Captain Robert Philip Henry Elwes, son of Captain Robert Hamond Arthur Elwes and Esterel Edith Philippa Louise Tillard, on 27 April 1940.² She and Captain Robert Philip Henry Elwes were divorced in 1950.²
     From 27 April 1940, her married name became Elwes.²

     Ethel Evelyn Smith is the daughter of Martin Ridley-Smith and Emily Catherine Stuart.¹ She married Stuart MacRae in 1891.¹
     From 1891, her married name became MacRae.¹

     Stuart MacRae married Ethel Evelyn Smith, daughter of Martin Ridley-Smith and Emily Catherine Stuart, in 1891.¹

     Audrey Cecilia Martin Smith is the daughter of Martin Ridley-Smith and Emily Catherine Stuart.¹ She married Walter Herriott in 1899.¹
     From 1899, her married name became Herriott.¹
