     From 1939, her married name became Wood.¹

     Lady Juliet Margaret Smith was born on 9 September 1941.² She was the daughter of Frederick Winston Furneaux Smith, 2nd Earl of Birkenhead and Hon. Sheila Berry.¹ She married John Richard Townsend, son of Colonel Clarence Henry Southgate Townsend and Sophia Eleanor Kidston-Montgomerie, in 1970.² She died on 29 November 2014 at age 73.³
     She was educated at Westonbirt School, Gloucestershire, England^G.³ She was educated at Somerville College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.³ She held the office of Lady-in-Waiting to HRH The Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon between 1965 and 1971.¹ From 1970, her married name became Townsend.¹ She held the office of Extra Lady-in-Waiting to HRH The Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon between 1971 and 2002.¹ She was appointed Lieutenant, Royal Victorian Order (L.V.O.) in 1981.² She held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Northamptonshire between 1998 and 2014.⁴ She lived in 2003 at Newbottle Manor, Banbury, Oxfordshire, England.² She was appointed Dame Commander, Royal Victorian Order (D.C.V.O.) in 2014.⁴

     John Richard Townsend is the son of Colonel Clarence Henry Southgate Townsend and Sophia Eleanor Kidston-Montgomerie.² He married Lady Juliet Margaret Smith, daughter of Frederick Winston Furneaux Smith, 2nd Earl of Birkenhead and Hon. Sheila Berry, in 1970.³
     He lived at Newbottle, Northamptonshire, England^G.⁴

     Eleanor Mary Townsend was born in 1971.¹ She is the daughter of John Richard Townsend and Lady Juliet Margaret Smith.² She married Richard James Bland, son of Godfrey Hamilton Bland and Olga Mary Hohler, on 7 August 2004.³
     From 7 August 2004, her married name became Bland.³

     Captain Wittewronge Taylor was born circa 1719.¹ He was the son of Reverend Thomas Taylor and Mary Wittewronge.² He married Catherine Vincent, daughter of Thomas Vincent, on 28 September 1756.² He died circa February 1760, drowned when H.M.S. Ramilles foundered on rocks near Bolt Head.¹
     He fought in the Battle of Havana on 1 October 1748.¹ He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.¹
     

     Margaret Eglantine Stephenson was born on 23 April 1907.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Guy Stephenson and Gwendolen Talbot.¹

     Marcus Denison-Smith was born on 11 April 1974.¹ He is the son of Lt.-Gen. Sir Anthony Arthur Denison-Smith and Julia Helena Scott.¹

     Rt. Hon. John Frederick Eustace Stephenson was born on 28 March 1910.² He was the son of Sir Guy Stephenson and Gwendolen Talbot.³ He married Hon. Frances Rose Asquith, daughter of Cyril Asquith, Baron Asquith of Bishopstone and Anne Stephanie Pollock, on 8 December 1951.¹ He died in 1998 at Fulham, London, England.²
     He held the office of Lord Justice of Appeal.¹ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.)¹

     Mary Stephenson was born on 24 November 1952.² She is the daughter of Rt. Hon. John Frederick Eustace Stephenson and Hon. Frances Rose Asquith.¹ She married Philippe G. Wines, son of E. G. Wines, on 8 January 1972.² She and Philippe G. Wines were divorced in 1995.¹
     From 8 January 1972, her married name became Wines.¹

     Philippe G. Wines is the son of E. G. Wines.¹ He married Mary Stephenson, daughter of Rt. Hon. John Frederick Eustace Stephenson and Hon. Frances Rose Asquith, on 8 January 1972.¹ He and Mary Stephenson were divorced in 1995.²
