Hon. Margaret Brooke1

Hon. Margaret Brooke was born in 1642.3 She was the daughter of Sir William Brooke and Penelope Hill.1 She married Sir John Denham on 25 May 1665.1 She died on 6 January 1666/67, without issue.1
She was for a short time the acknowledged mistress of the Duke of York (later King James II.)1 She and James II Stuart, King of Great Britain were associated. On 19 May 1665 she was granted the precedence of a daughter of a Baron.4 From 25 May 1665, her married name became Denham.

Hon. Frances Brooke was born in 1640.2 She was the daughter of Sir William Brooke and Penelope Hill.1 She married, firstly, Sir Thomas Whitmore, son of Sir Thomas Whitmore, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Acton, before May 1665.1 She married, secondly, Matthew Harvey after 1682.1 She died circa 1690.1 She was buried in 1690.1
Her married name became Whitmore. On 19 May 1665 she was granted the precedence of a daughter of a Baron.3 From after 1682, her married name became Harvey.1

Sir William Boothby, 1st Bt.1 
He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Boothby, of Clate Clote, co. Oxford [E., 1644] on 3 September 1648.1 He was created 1st Baronet Boothby, of Broadlow Ash, co. Derby [England] on 13 July 1660, recreated a Baronet, as at the Restoration, ‘the King was pleased to renew his patent gratis.1‘ He held the office of Sheriff of Derbyshire from 1661 to 1662.2 In 1671 he purchased Ashbourne Hall, and the manor of Ashbourne from Sir Aston Cokayne, 1st Bt.2 He lived at Broadlow Ash, Derbyshire, EnglandG.2 His last will was dated 27 October 1706.
