Marguerite d’Angoulême

Marguerite d‘Angoulême was born on 11 April 1492. She was the daughter of Charles d‘Orléans, Comte d’Angoulême and Luisa Principessa di Savoia-Piedmonte. She married, firstly, Charles IV d‘Alençon, Duc d’Alençon in 1509.3 She married, secondly, Enrique II, Rey de Navarre, son of Juan III, Rey de Navarre and Catherine, Reina de Navarre, on 24 January 1526. She died on 21 December 1549 at age 57.
After her marriage, Marguerite d’Angoulême was styled as Reine Marguerite de Navarre.

Juan II, Rey de Castilla y León was born on 6 March 1405. He was the son of Enrique III, Rey de Castilla y León and Katherine of Lancaster.3,1 He married, firstly, Maria de Aragón, daughter of Fernando I de Antequera, Rey de Aragón and Eleanor de Albuquerque, in 1420.4 He married, secondly, Isabel de Aviz, daughter of João de Aviz, Duque de Beja and Isabel de Bragança, in August 1447.4 He died on 21 July 1454 at age 49.
He succeeded as the Rey Juan II de León in 1406.1 He succeeded as the Rey Juan II de Castilla in 1406.4
