Filippo II, Duca di Savoia1 
Filippo II, Duca di Savoia was born on 5 February 1438 at Geneva, Switzerland.2 He was the son of Ludovico I Duca di Savoia and Anne de Lusignan, Princess of Cyprus. He married, firstly, Marguerite de Bourbon, daughter of Charles I de Bourbon, Duc de Bourbon and Agnes de Bourgogne, on 6 April 1472. He married, secondly, Claudine de Brosse-Penthièvre, daughter of Jean II de Brosse, Comte de Penthièvre and Nicole de Châtillon, Vicomtesse de Limoges et Comtesse de Penthièvre, on 11 November 1485.3 He died on 7 November 1497 at age 59 at Chambéry, France.3
He succeeded as the Duca di Savoia in 1496.1
