Frederik VII Carl Christian Oldenburg, King of Denmark was born on 6 October 1808 at Amalienborg Palace, Copenhagen, DenmarkG.3 He was the son of Christian VIII Frederik Oldenburg, King of Denmark and Charlotte Frederike Herzogin von Mecklenburg-Schwerin.4,5 He married, firstly, Wilhelmine Marie Oldenburg, Princess of Denmark, daughter of Frederik VI Oldenburg, King of Denmark and Marie Sophie Friederike Prinzessin von Hessen-Kassel, on 1 November 1828 at Copenhagen, DenmarkG.3 He and Wilhelmine Marie Oldenburg, Princess of Denmark were divorced on 4 September 1837.3 He married, secondly, Karoline Charlotte Marianne Herzogin von Mecklenburg-Strelitz, daughter of Georg Großherog von Mecklenburg-Strelitz and Marie Wilhelmine Frederike Prinzessin von Hessen-Kassel, on 10 June 1841 at Neustrelitz, Brandenburg, GermanyG.3 He and Karoline Charlotte Marianne Herzogin von Mecklenburg-Strelitz were divorced on 30 September 1846.5 He married, thirdly, Louise Christiane Rasmussen, Countess Danner, daughter of Gotthilf Ludewig Köppen and Juliane Caroline Rasmussen, on 7 August 1850 at Fredericksborg, DenmarkG, in a morganatic marriage.3 He died on 15 November 1863 at age 55 at Glücksburg, Schleswig-Holstein, GermanyG.3
He succeeded as the King Frederik VII of Denmark on 20 January 1848.3

Louise Augusta Oldenburg, Princess of Denmark was born on 7 July 1771 at Horsholm CastleG.1 She was the daughter of Christian VII Oldenburg, King of Denmark and Caroline Matilda Hanover, Princess of Great Britain and Ireland. She married Friedrich Christian II Herzog von Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Augustenburg, son of Friedrich Christian I Herzog von Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Augustenburg and Charlotte von Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Plön, on 27 May 1786 at Christiansborg Castle, Copenhagen, DenmarkG.1 She died on 13 January 1843 at age 71 at Augustenborg, Jylland, DenmarkG.1
She gained the title of HRH Princess Louisa of Denmark.3 Count John Struensee is more likely Louise’s father, based on the striking resemblance between them, and Caroline’s acknowledged adultery with the Count.
