     Donata Emma Gräfin zu Castell-Rüdenhausen was born on 21 June 1950 at Rüdenhausen, Germany^G.¹ She was the daughter of Siegfried Casimir Friedrich Fürst zu Castell-Rüdenhausen and Irene Gräfin zu Solms-Laubach.¹ She married, firstly, Ludwig Ferdinand Oskar Christian Prinz von Preußen, son of Ludwig Ferdinand Prinz von Preußen and Kira Kirillovna Romanov, Grand Duchess of Russia, on 23 May 1975 at Rüdenhausen, Germany^G, in a civil marriage.¹ She married, secondly, Friedrich August Wilhelm Christian Ernst von Holstein-Gottorp, Herzog von Oldenburg, son of Nikolaus Friedrich Wilhelm von Holstein-Gottorp, Hereditary Grand Duke of Oldenburg and Helene Prinzessin zu Waldeck und Pyrmont, on 9 February 1991 at Rüdenhausen, Germany^G. Donata Emma and Ludwig Ferdinand Oskar Christian were also married in a religious ceremony on 24 May 1975 at Rudenhausen, Germany^G. She died on 5 September 2015 at age 65.
