     Augustus Pechell was born on 22 January 1828 at Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, England^G.² He was the son of Reverend Horace Robert Pechell and Lady Caroline Mary Kerr.² He married Lucy Jane Beckford, daughter of Reverend Charles Douglas Beckford and Charlotte Maria Middleton, on 7 April 1863.² He died on 4 April 1894 at age 66.²

     Lucy Jane Beckford was baptised in 1836 at All Saints, Southampton, Hampshire, England.² She was the daughter of Reverend Charles Douglas Beckford and Charlotte Maria Middleton.² She married Augustus Pechell, son of Reverend Horace Robert Pechell and Lady Caroline Mary Kerr, on 7 April 1863.¹ She died in December 1872 at Southampton, Hampshire, England.²
     Her married name became Pechell.

     Alice Mary Louisa Pechell was born circa 1865 at London, England^G. She was the daughter of Augustus Pechell and Lucy Jane Beckford.^1,2 She married Lt.-Col. Henry Somerset King, son of Frederick King and Charlotte Mary Maitland-Heriot, on 19 April 1893.¹ She died on 27 October 1935.¹
     Her married name became King.

     Lt.-Col. Henry Somerset King was born on 21 February 1860.¹ He was the son of Frederick King and Charlotte Mary Maitland-Heriot.¹ He married Alice Mary Louisa Pechell, daughter of Augustus Pechell and Lucy Jane Beckford, on 19 April 1893.¹ He died on 30 January 1935 at age 74.¹
     He gained the rank of Brevet Colonel in the Royal Engineers.¹

     William Augustus Henry King was born on 23 February 1894.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Henry Somerset King and Alice Mary Louisa Pechell.¹ He married Dorothy Elizabeth Booth, daughter of Henry Campbell Booth, on 4 August 1926.¹ He died on 23 February 1958 at age 64, without issue.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 3rd Battalion, Royal Sussex Regiment.¹ He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1921 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was Deputy Keeper of British and Medieval Antiquities, British Museum.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Artillery.¹ He fought in the Second World War between 1940 and 1942.¹ He was with the Foreign Office between 1942 and 1945.¹

     Dorothy Elizabeth Booth is the daughter of Henry Campbell Booth.¹ She married William Augustus Henry King, son of Lt.-Col. Henry Somerset King and Alice Mary Louisa Pechell, on 4 August 1926.¹
     Her married name became King.

     Admiral Mark Robert Pechell was born on 6 July 1830 at Bix, Oxfordshire, England^G.² He was the son of Reverend Horace Robert Pechell and Lady Caroline Mary Kerr.² He married Ellen Maria Derby, daughter of Cobbett Derby and Harriet Elizabeth Frances Drummond, on 6 June 1861.² He died on 9 July 1902 at age 72.²
     He gained the rank of Admiral in the Royal Navy.²

     Ellen Maria Derby was the daughter of Cobbett Derby and Harriet Elizabeth Frances Drummond.² She married Admiral Mark Robert Pechell, son of Reverend Horace Robert Pechell and Lady Caroline Mary Kerr, on 6 June 1861.¹ She died on 1 October 1908.¹
     Her married name became Pechell.

     Captain Mark Horace Kerr Pechell was born on 22 September 1867.¹ He was the son of Admiral Mark Robert Pechell and Ellen Maria Derby.¹ He died on 29 October 1899 at age 32 at Glencoe, South Africa^G, killed in action.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the King’s Royal Rifle Corps.¹ He fought in the Boer War.¹

     Captain Charles Augustus Kerr Pechell was born on 29 July 1869.¹ He was the son of Admiral Mark Robert Pechell and Ellen Maria Derby.¹ He died on 31 October 1899 at age 30 at Mafeking, South Africa^G, killed in action.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the King’s Royal Rifle Corps.¹ He fought in the Siege of Mafeking.¹
