Middlesex [U.K.] on 20 February 1906. He held the office of Lord-in-Waiting the HM King George V between 1910 and 1911.2 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1914.2 He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 1922.2 He held the office of Permanent Lord-in-Waiting in 1924.2 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Royal Victorian Order (G.C.V.O.) in 1927.2
