     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)² He lived at Airds, Argyllshire, Scotland^G.² He lived at Uplands Hall, Preston, Lancashire, England^G.²

     Malcolm George Dyer-Edwardes Leslie, 20th Earl of Rothes was born on 8 February 1902.² He was the son of Norman Evelyn Leslie, 19th Earl of Rothes and Lucy Noëlle Martha Dyer-Edwardes.³ He married Beryl Violet Dugdale, daughter of Captain James Lionel Dugdale and Maud Violet Woodroffe, on 17 July 1926.³ He died on 17 May 1975 at age 73.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.² He succeeded as the 20th Earl of Rothes [S., 1458] on 29 March 1927.² He succeeded as the 20th Lord Leslie [S., 1445] on 29 March 1927.² He was appointed Representative Peer [Scotland] between 1931 and 1959.² He was chairman of National Mutual Life Assurance.² He was awarded the Royal Company of Archers.² He was Director of Tyres, Ministry of Supply between 1942 and 1945.²

     Beryl Violet Dugdale was born in 1902.³ She was the daughter of Captain James Lionel Dugdale and Maud Violet Woodroffe.⁴ She married Malcolm George Dyer-Edwardes Leslie, 20th Earl of Rothes, son of Norman Evelyn Leslie, 19th Earl of Rothes and Lucy Noëlle Martha Dyer-Edwardes, on 17 July 1926.¹ She died in 1994.¹
     Her married name became Leslie. After her marriage, Beryl Violet Dugdale was styled as Countess of Rothes on 29 March 1927.⁴

     Captain James Lionel Dugdale was born on 19 September 1862.¹ He was the son of John Dugdale and Charlotte Mary Artindale.² He married Maud Violet Woodroffe, daughter of George William Plukennett Woodroffe, on 11 December 1894.¹ He died on 17 October 1941 at age 79.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Princess of Wales’s Own Yorkshire Hussars Yeomanry Cavalry.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Yorkshire.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Yorkshire.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Yorkshire in 1921.¹ He lived at Crathorne Hall, Yam, Yorkshire, England^G.¹

     Ian Lionel Malcolm Leslie, 21st Earl of Rothes was born on 10 May 1932.² He was the son of Malcolm George Dyer-Edwardes Leslie, 20th Earl of Rothes and Beryl Violet Dugdale.³ He married Marigold Evans-Bevan, daughter of Sir David Martyn Evans-Bevan, 1st Bt. and Eira Winifred Glanley, on 8 July 1955.³ He died on 15 April 2005 at age 72.⁴
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.² He gained the rank of Sub-Lieutenant in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.² He succeeded as the 21st Lord Leslie [S., 1445] on 17 May 1975.³ He succeeded as the 21st Earl of Rothes [S., 1458] on 17 May 1975.³ He lived in 2003 at Tanglewood, West Tytherley, Salisbury, Wiltshire, England^G.³

     Marigold Evans-Bevan was born on 3 November 1934.¹ She is the daughter of Sir David Martyn Evans-Bevan, 1st Bt. and Eira Winifred Glanley.¹ She married Ian Lionel Malcolm Leslie, 21st Earl of Rothes, son of Malcolm George Dyer-Edwardes Leslie, 20th Earl of Rothes and Beryl Violet Dugdale, on 8 July 1955.¹
     Her married name became Leslie. After her marriage, Marigold Evans-Bevan was styled as Countess of Rothes on 17 May 1975.

     Sir David Martyn Evans-Bevan, 1st Bt. was born on 4 March 1902.² He was the son of Evan Evans Bevan and Caroline Thomas.² He married Eira Winifred Glanley, daughter of Sidney Archibald Lloyd Glanley, on 1 October 1929.² He died on 9 September 1973 at age 71.²
     He was also known as David Martin Bevan.² He was educated at Uppingham School, Uppingham, Rutland, England^G.² He held the office of High Sheriff of Breconshire in 1929.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Glamorgan in 1932.² He was Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) in 1935.² He held the office of a Development Commissioner between 1936 and 1945.² He held the office of High Sheriff of Glamorgan in 1951.² He was created 1st Baronet Evans-Bevan, of Cadoxton-juxta-Neath, co. Glamorgan [U.K.] on 9 July 1958.² He was a director of Barclays Bank and Phoenix Assurance.² He was awarded the Knight, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.St.J.)²

     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was styled as Lord Leslie in 1975.² He was educated in 1990 at John Makepeace School for Craftsmen in Wood, Parnham House, Beaminster, Dorset, England.¹ He lived in 2003 at Littlecroft, West Milton, Dorset, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 22nd Earl of Rothes [S., 1458] on 15 April 2005.² He succeeded as the 22nd Lord Leslie [S., 1445] on 15 April 2005.²

     Hon. Alexander John Leslie was born on 18 February 1962.² He is the son of Ian Lionel Malcolm Leslie, 21st Earl of Rothes and Marigold Evans-Bevan.² He married, firstly, Tina L. Gordon, daughter of Dr. T. E. Gordon, on 24 February 1990.² He married, secondly, Francesca Claire (?) on 21 August 2008 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.³ He and Francesca Claire (?) were divorced.⁴ He married Miranda Jane Grant, daughter of Ian Falconer Heathcoat Grant of Glenmoriston and Sarah Bonita Hall, on 12 September 2014.⁴
