     Lady Iona Charlotte Grimston was born on 25 October 1953.² She is the daughter of John Grimston, 6th Earl of Verulam and Marjorie Ray Duncan.^1,2 She married Henry Vivien Pierpont Conyngham, 8th Marquess Conyngham, son of Frederick William Henry Francis Conyngham, 7th Marquess Conyngham and Eileen Wren Newsam, in 1985.¹
     From 1985, her married name became Conyngham.¹ She lived in 2003 at Shane’s Castle, County Meath, Ireland.²

     Mary Elizabeth Leslie, Countess of Rothes was born on 9 July 1811.¹ She was the daughter of George Leslie and Henrietta Anne Evelyn-Leslie, Countess of Rothes.¹ She married Captain Martin Edward Haworth-Leslie on 11 August 1835.¹ She died on 19 September 1893 at age 82.¹
     Her married name became Haworth. She succeeded as the 18th Countess of Rothes [S., 1458] on 10 February 1886.¹ She succeeded as the 18th Lady Leslie [S., 1445] on 10 February 1886.¹

     Captain Martin Edward Haworth-Leslie married Mary Elizabeth Leslie, Countess of Rothes, daughter of George Leslie and Henrietta Anne Evelyn-Leslie, Countess of Rothes, on 11 August 1835.¹ He died on 2 November 1886.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 60th Rifles.¹ He was given the name of Martin Edward Haworth at birth.¹ He lived at Boreham Wood, Elstree, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹ In 1886 his name was legally changed to Martin Edward Haworth-Leslie by Royal Licence.¹

     Martin Leslie Leslie was born on 12 March 1839.¹ He was the son of Captain Martin Edward Haworth-Leslie and Mary Elizabeth Leslie, Countess of Rothes.¹ He married Georgina Frances Studdy, daughter of Henry Studdy, on 10 June 1873.¹ He died on 22 December 1882 at age 43.¹
     He was given the name of Martin Leslie Haworth at birth.¹ In 1865 his name was legally changed to Martin Leslie Leslie by Royal Licence.¹

     Georgina Frances Studdy was the daughter of Henry Studdy.¹ She married Martin Leslie Leslie, son of Captain Martin Edward Haworth-Leslie and Mary Elizabeth Leslie, Countess of Rothes, on 10 June 1873.¹ She died on 29 January 1934.¹
     Her married name became Leslie.

     Henry Studdy lived at Waddeton Court, Devon, England^G.¹

     Norman Evelyn Leslie, 19th Earl of Rothes was born on 13 July 1877.² He was the son of Martin Leslie Leslie and Georgina Frances Studdy.² He married Lucy Noëlle Martha Dyer-Edwardes, daughter of Thomas Dyer-Edwardes and Clementina Georgina Lucy Drummond Villiers, on 19 April 1900.² He died on 29 March 1927 at age 49.²
     He succeeded as the 19th Lord Leslie [S., 1445] on 19 September 1893.² He succeeded as the 19th Earl of Rothes [S., 1458] on 19 September 1893.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 6th Volunteer Battalion, Black Watch.² He gained the rank of Captain in the Fife Royal Field Artillery.² He was appointed Representative Peer [Scotalnd] between 1906 and 1923.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Fife.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 4th Battalion, Devonshire Regiment.² He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.² He gained the rank of Colonel in the Highland Cyclist Battalion.²

     Lucy Noëlle Martha Dyer-Edwardes was born on 25 December 1878 at Kensington, London, England.^3,4 She was the daughter of Thomas Dyer-Edwardes and Clementina Georgina Lucy Drummond Villiers.^1,4 She married, firstly, Norman Evelyn Leslie, 19th Earl of Rothes, son of Martin Leslie Leslie and Georgina Frances Studdy, on 19 April 1900.¹ She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. Claud Macfie, son of William Macfie and Jane Crawford Allan, on 22 December 1927 at London, England.³ She died on 12 September 1956 at age 77 at Hove, Sussex, England^G.³
     Lucy Noëlle Martha Dyer-Edwardes usually went by her middle name of Noëlle.¹ After her marriage, Lucy Noëlle Martha Dyer-Edwardes was styled as Countess of Rothes on 19 April 1900. From 19 April 1900, her married name became Leslie. On 14 April 1912 she survived the sinking of R.M.S. Titanic.³ From 22 December 1927, her married name became Macfie.

     Thomas Dyer-Edwardes was born on 21 November 1847.² He was the son of Thomas Dyer-Edwardes.² He married Clementina Georgina Lucy Drummond Villiers, daughter of James Villiers and Lucy Elizabeth Drummond Davies, on 10 January 1878.² He died on 2 November 1926 at age 78.²
     He lived at Prinknash Park, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹

     Lt.-Col. Claud Macfie was born on 4 June 1878 at Birkdale, Lancashire, England^G.¹ He was the son of William Macfie and Jane Crawford Allan.^2,1 He married Lucy Noëlle Martha Dyer-Edwardes, daughter of Thomas Dyer-Edwardes and Clementina Georgina Lucy Drummond Villiers, on 22 December 1927 at London, England.¹ He died on 23 December 1963 at age 85 at Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Seaforth Highlanders.² He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)²
