John Walgrave Halford Fremantle, 4th Baron Cottesloe and Lady Elizabeth Harris.^2,1 He married Elizabeth Ann Barker, daughter of Lt.-Col. Henry Shelley Barker and Sheila Winifred Barnes, on 26 April 1958.² He died on 21 May 2018 at age 91.³
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.² He was commissioned in 1944, in the service of the Royal Navy.⁴ He was commanding officer of the H.M.S. Palliser between 1959 and 1961.² He retired from the military in 1966, with the rank of Commander, late of the Royal Navy.⁴ He held the office of High Sheriff of Buckinghamshire between 1969 and 1970.² He was appointed Knight, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.St.J.) in 1984.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Buckinghamshire in 1984.² He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire between 1984 and 1997.² He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of the University (D.Univ.) by Buckingham University, Buckinghamshire, England^G, in 1993.⁴ He succeeded as the 5th Baron Cottesloe, of Swanbourne and Hardwick, co. Buckingham [U.K., 1874] in 1994.⁴ He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Fremantle, of Swanbourne and Hardwick, co. Buckingham [U.K., 1821] in 1994.² He succeeded as the 6th Baron Fremantle [Austrian Empire, 1816] in 1994.² He lived in 2003 at Athawes Farm House, 15 Nearton End, Swanbourne, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, England^G.²

     Elizabeth Ann Barker was born in 1930.³ She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Henry Shelley Barker and Sheila Winifred Barnes.^4,5 She married John Tapling Fremantle, 5th Baron Cottesloe, son of Lt.-Col. John Walgrave Halford Fremantle, 4th Baron Cottesloe and Lady Elizabeth Harris, on 26 April 1958.¹ She died on 8 November 2013.⁵
     Her married name became Fremantle. After her marriage, Elizabeth Ann Barker was styled as Baroness Cottesloe in 1994.

     Lt.-Col. Henry Shelley Barker was born in 1899.² He married Sheila Winifred Barnes in 1930.² He died in 1970.²

     Hon. Elizabeth Wynne Fremantle was born on 15 February 1959.¹ She is the daughter of John Tapling Fremantle, 5th Baron Cottesloe and Elizabeth Ann Barker.¹ She married Rt. Hon. Sir George Iain Duncan Smith, son of G/Capt. Wilfred George Gerald Duncan Smith and Pamela Mary Summers, in 1982.¹
     Hon. Elizabeth Wynne Fremantle also went by the nick-name of Betsey.¹ She was educated at St. Mary’s School, Wantage, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ She was educated at Stowe School, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹ She was a shop assistant for Harrods.¹ From 1982, her married name became Duncan Smith. She was her husband’s diary secretary.¹

     Hon. Frances Ann Fremantle was born on 7 June 1961.² She is the daughter of John Tapling Fremantle, 5th Baron Cottesloe and Elizabeth Ann Barker.¹ She married Shaun Richard Stanley, son of John Orr Stanley and Hon. Susan Elizabeth Haden-Guest, on 14 July 1984.¹

     Thomas Francis Henry Fremantle, 6th Baron Cottesloe was born on 17 March 1966.¹ He is the son of John Tapling Fremantle, 5th Baron Cottesloe and Elizabeth Ann Barker.¹

Buckingham [U.K., 1874] on 21 May 2018. He succeeded as the 7th Baron Fremantle [Austrian Empire, 1816] on 21 May 2018. He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Fremantle, of Swanbourne and Hardwick, co. Buckingham [U.K., 1821] on 21 May 2018.

     Charlotte Anne Legge was the daughter of Rev. Hon. Augustus George Legge and Honora Bagot.¹ She married Rev. Hon. Arthur Philip Perceval, son of Charles George Perceval, 2nd Baron Arden and Margaretta Elizabeth Wilson, on 15 December 1825.¹ She died on 21 June 1856.¹
     Her married name became Perceval.

     George James Perceval, 6th Earl of Egmont was born on 15 March 1794.² He was the son of Charles George Perceval, 2nd Baron Arden and Margaretta Elizabeth Wilson.² He married Jane Hornby, daughter of John Hornby and Jane Wynne, on 24 July 1819 at Titchfield, Hampshire, England^G.^2,3 He died on 2 August 1874 at age 80 at Epsom, Surrey, England^G, without issue.^2,3 His will was proven (by probate) on 18 September 1874.³
     He was commissioned in 1805, in the service of the Royal Navy.² He fought in the Battle of Trafalgar.² He fought in the Battle of Algers, where he commanded H.M.S.
