     W/Cdr. Robert Cecil Talbot Speir was born on 8 October 1904. He was the son of Colonel Guy Thomas Speir and Mary Lucy Fletcher. He married, firstly, Elizabeth Findlay, daughter of Sir John Ritchie Findlay of Aberlour, 1st Bt. and Harriet Jane Backhouse, on 26 April 1932. He married, secondly, Dolce Maria Handelsman in 1961. He died on 2 January 1980 at age 75.
     He gained the rank of Wing Commander in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.² He gained the rank of officer in the King’s Own Scottish Borderers.³ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He lived at Linkside, Nairnshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Elizabeth Findlay was the daughter of Sir John Ritchie Findlay of Aberlour, 1st Bt. and Harriet Jane Backhouse.¹ She married W/Cdr. Robert Cecil Talbot Speir, son of Colonel Guy Thomas Speir and Mary Lucy Fletcher, on 26 April 1932. She died in 1958.
     Her married name became Speir.

     Dolce Maria Handelsman married W/Cdr. Robert Cecil Talbot Speir, son of Colonel Guy Thomas Speir and Mary Lucy Fletcher, in 1961.
     Her married name became Speir.

     Richard Peter Guy Speir was born on 7 July 1944.¹ He is the son of W/Cdr. Robert Cecil Talbot Speir and Elizabeth Findlay.

     Robert Johnathan Michael Speir was born on 28 February 1938.¹ He is the son of W/Cdr. Robert Cecil Talbot Speir and Elizabeth Findlay.

     Margaret Ann Searle Hinton was the daughter of Thomas James Hinton.¹ She married Sir Robert Archibald Napier of Merchistoun, 12th Bt., son of Sir Archibald Lennox Milliken-Napier of Merchistoun, 10th Bt. and Mary Allison Dorothy Fairbairn, on 9 November 1929.¹ She died on 24 January 1962.¹
     She was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)¹ From 9 November 1929, her married name became Napier.¹

     Eva Monica Birgitta Blom is the daughter of Dr. Lennart Blom and Eva Maria Eriksson.² She married Hugo Gabriel McEwen, son of Alexander Dundas McEwen and Cecilia Leontine Mary Gräfin von Weikersheim, on 6 July 1996.¹
     She lived at Stockholm, Sweden.³ Eva Monica Birgitta Blom usually went by her middle name of Monica.² From 6 July 1996, her married name became McEwen.¹

     Sarah Elizabeth Speir was born on 31 July 1934. She is the daughter of W/Cdr. Robert Cecil Talbot Speir and Elizabeth Findlay.¹ She married Robin David Taunton Raikes, son of Colonel David Taunton Raikes and Cynthia Birkett Stewart-Brown, on 18 June 1960.¹
     From 18 June 1960, her married name became Raikes.¹

     Michael Adrian Speir was born on 23 August 1907. He is the son of Colonel Guy Thomas Speir and Mary Lucy Fletcher. He married Isabella Mary Baker Baker, daughter of John Francis Baker Baker and Georgina Marguerite Cator, in 1940.¹
     He lived at Yorkshire, England.²

     Lt.-Col. Sir Rupert Malise Speir was born on 10 September 1910. He is the son of Colonel Guy Thomas Speir and Mary Lucy Fletcher.
