     Otto Graf zu Solms-Sonnenwalde was born on 25 June 1550 at Sonnenwalde, Germany.² He was the son of Friedrich Magnus graf zu Solms-Laubach and Agnes von Wied.² He married Anna Amalie von Nassau-Weilburg, daughter of Albrecht Graf von Nassau-Weilburg and Anna Gräfin von Nassau-Dillenburg, on 9 September 1581.² He died on 29 January 1612 at age 61 at Sonnenwalde, Germany.²
