     Admiral Edmond Hyde Parker was born on 30 January 1868.1 He was the son of Captain Sir William Parker, 9th Bt. and Sophia Mary Barnardiston. He married Helen Margaret Portal, daughter of Reverend George Raymond Portal and Helen Mary Charlotte Soulsby, on 17 September 1908.2 He was also reported to have been married on 8 September 1908.1 He died on 19 August 1951 at age 83, without issue.1
     He was educated at Stubbington House School, Fareham, Hampshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Royal Naval Colleges.1 He was Commander of the Training Squadroon between 1912 and 1914.1 He was Commander of HMS Superb Grand Fleet during the First World War.1 He was Aide-de-Camp to HM George V in 1917.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1918.2,1 He was director of Mobilisation Admiralty between 1918 and 1921.1 He was Commander of the Portsmouth Division Reserve Fleet between 1921 and 1922.1 He was Commander of the Reserve Fleet between 1922 and 1923.1 He was appointed Order of St. Anne of Russia.1

     Helen Margaret Portal was the daughter of Reverend George Raymond Portal and Helen Mary Charlotte Soulsby. She married Admiral Edmond Hyde Parker, son of Captain Sir William Parker, 9th Bt. and Sophia Mary Barnardiston, on 17 September 1908.1 She was also reported to have been married on 8 September 1908.2 She died on 8 November 1959.1
     From 17 September 1908, her married name became Parker.2

     Nicholas Ward was born circa 1580.2 He was the son of Bernard Ward and unknown Leigh.1 He married Joan Leycester, daughter of Ralph Leycester.1
     He held the office of Clerk, Comptroller and Surveyor-General of Ordnance between 1599 and 1602.1 He lived at Castle Ward, County Down, IrelandG.1

Helen Mary Charlotte Soulsby1

     Helen Mary Charlotte Soulsby was baptised on 5 October 1828 at Bessingby, Yorkshire, England.1 She was the daughter of Christopher Thomas Soulsby and Ann Hudson.1 She married, firstly, William Daubuz, son of Lewis Charles Daubuz and Wilmot Arundel, on 23 May 1850 at Old Church, St. Pancras, London, England.2,1 She married, secondly, Reverend George Raymond Portal, son of John Portal and Elizabeth Drummond, on 26 December 1860 at British Legation, Turin, Italy.2,1 She died on 9 May 1904 at age 75.2
     From 23 May 1850, her married name became Daubuz.2 From 26 December 1860, her married name became Portal.2 They also had other issue.2

     Ada Laetitia Moor Horsford was the daughter of Joseph Alphonsus Horsford. She married Laurence Hyde Parker, son of Captain Sir William Parker, 9th Bt. and Sophia Mary Barnardiston, on 19 April 1906.1 She died on 2 February 1968.1
     From 19 April 1906, her married name became Parker.1

     F/Lt. Laurence Edmund Hyde Parker was born on 24 February 1912.1 He was the son of Laurence Hyde Parker and Ada Laetitia Moor Horsford. He married Margaretha Van Thörne Nielson, daughter of unknown Nielson and Dietlef (?), on 1 January 1953.1 He died on 25 October 1994 at age 82.1
     F/Lt. Laurence Edmund Hyde Parker also went by the nick-name of Bunny.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.1
