     Stephen Francis Hopwood was born on 23 June 1880.¹ He was the son of Reverend Walter William Hopwood and Mary Elizabeth Rowland.¹ He married Helen Brown, daughter of Dr. John Barr Brown, on 1 October 1907.¹ He died on 24 January 1956 at age 75.¹
     He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He was with the Imperial Forest Services at Burma.¹

     Helen Brown was the daughter of Dr. John Barr Brown.¹ She married Stephen Francis Hopwood, son of Reverend Walter William Hopwood and Mary Elizabeth Rowland, on 1 October 1907.¹ She died on 6 February 1920.¹
     From 1 October 1907, her married name became Hopwood.¹

     Dr. John Barr Brown lived at Ascot, Berkshire, England.¹

     Neill Hopwood was born on 15 July 1916.¹ He is the son of Brigadier Alfred Henry Hopwood and Hon. Gladys Mary Neill Hopwood.¹ He married, firstly, Josephine Vivien Tweedy, daughter of Major Roger Tweedy, on 7 February 1962.¹
     He was a practising solicitor.¹

     Josephine Vivien Tweedy was the daughter of Major Roger Tweedy.¹ She married Neill Hopwood, son of Brigadier Alfred Henry Hopwood and Hon. Gladys Mary Neill Hopwood, on 7 February 1962.¹ She died on 1 July 1967.¹
     Her married name became Murcell.¹ From 7 February 1962, her married name became Hopwood.¹

     Margaret Hopwood was the daughter of John Stephen Spindler Hopwood and Mary Anne Toole.¹ She died, unmarried.¹
