He was educated at Downside School, Bath, Somerset, England.2 He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.2 He lived at Grace Castle, County Kilkenny, Ireland.2 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers.2 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Gamon, of Minchenden, co. Middlesex [G.B., 1795] on 3 May 1945.1 On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.3
