     Sarah Gillian Arthur was born on 9 November 1950.¹ She is the daughter of Thomas Ian Arthur and Pamela Mary Dering.¹

     Beatrice Adela Frances Dering was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Edgar William Wallace Dering and Marianna Emily Harding.¹ She died on 24 March 1953, unmarried.¹

     Katherine Edith Burton was the daughter of Burton Archer Burton.¹ She married Lionel Ashton Dering, son of Cholmeley Charles William Dering and Charlotte Mary Yea, on 20 September 1876.¹ She died on 10 January 1916.¹
     From 20 September 1876, her married name became Dering.¹

     Burton Archer Burton lived at Woodlands, Hampshire, England.¹

     Bernard Beere married Fanny Mary Whitehead, daughter of Francis Wilby Whitehead, on 3 August 1876.¹
     He lived at Ostend, Belgium.¹

     George Edwardes Dering was born on 12 January 1841.¹ He was the son of Sir Edward Cholmeley Dering, 8th Bt. and Hon. Jane Edwardes.¹ He married, firstly, Jane Alice Taylor, daughter of Thomas Taylor, in 1868.¹ He married, secondly, Pauline Mason, daughter of Reverend William Lewis Mason, on 12 January 1882.¹ He died on 15 April 1902 at age 61.¹
     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was a practising barrister-at-law.¹ He held the office of Recorder of Faversham.¹

     Jane Alice Taylor was the daughter of Thomas Taylor.¹ She married George Edwardes Dering, son of Sir Edward Cholmeley Dering, 8th Bt. and Hon. Jane Edwardes, in 1868.¹ She died on 13 June 1874.¹
     From 1868, her married name became Dering.¹
