     Violet Alice Jane Dering was born circa 1873.¹ She was the daughter of George Edwardes Dering and Jane Alice Taylor.¹ She died on 20 June 1953, unmarried.¹

     Pauline Mason was the daughter of Reverend William Lewis Mason.¹ She married George Edwardes Dering, son of Sir Edward Cholmeley Dering, 8th Bt. and Hon. Jane Edwardes, on 12 January 1882.¹ She died on 24 July 1916.¹
     From 12 January 1882, her married name became Dering.¹

     Arthur Robert Dering was born on 7 October 1847.¹ He was the son of Sir Edward Cholmeley Dering, 8th Bt. and Hon. Jane Edwardes.¹ He married Beatrice Ledgard, daughter of Eyre Ledgard, on 7 September 1880.¹ He died on 17 December 1910 at age 63, without issue.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the East Kent Militia.¹

     Beatrice Ledgard is the daughter of Eyre Ledgard.¹ She married Arthur Robert Dering, son of Sir Edward Cholmeley Dering, 8th Bt. and Hon. Jane Edwardes, on 7 September 1880.¹
     From 7 September 1880, her married name became Dering.¹

     Eyre Ledgard lived at Poppleton Hall.¹

     Sir Herbert Guy Nevill Dering was born on 13 November 1867 at Florence, Italy.¹ He was the son of Sir Henry Nevill Dering, 9th Bt. and Rosa Ann Underwood.¹ He married Edith Ann Mountjoy Sanders, daughter of James Sanders, on 27 April 1920.¹ He died on 29 May 1933 at age 65.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Kent.¹ In 1900 he served during the Siege of Peking.¹ He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.) in 1908.¹ He held the office of Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary to Siam in 1915.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.) in 1917.¹ He held the office of British High Commissioner to Bulgaria in 1919.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Indian Empire (K.C.I.E.) in 1919.¹ He held the office of Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary to Rumania between 1920 and 1926.¹

     Edith Ann Mountjoy Sanders was the daughter of James Sanders.¹ She married, firstly, James Rose Middleton Smith before 1920.¹ She married, secondly, Sir Herbert Guy Nevill Dering, son of Sir Henry Nevill Dering, 9th Bt. and Rosa Ann Underwood, on 27 April 1920.¹ She died on 16 January 1955.¹
     From before 1920, her married name became Smith.¹ From 27 April 1920, her married name became Dering.¹

     James Sanders lived at South Molton, Devon, England.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹

     James Rose Middleton Smith married Edith Ann Mountjoy Sanders, daughter of James Sanders, before 1920.¹ He died before 1920.¹
