Admiral Sir Ernest Charles Thomas Troubridge 
Admiral Sir Ernest Charles Thomas Troubridge was born on 15 July 1862.2 He was the son of Sir Thomas St. Vincent Hope Cochrane Troubridge, 3rd Bt. and Louisa Jane Gurney.3 He married, firstly, Edith Mary Duffus, daughter of William Duffus, on 29 December 1891.2 He married, secondly, Una Vincenzo Taylor, daughter of Harry Ashworth Taylor, on 10 October 1908.3 He died on 28 January 1926 at age 63.3
He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.)2 He was Flag Captain to Commander-in-Chief of the Mediterranean between 1907 and 1908.2 He was Commodore of Chatham between 1908 and 1910.2 He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to HM King Edward VII between 1909 and 1910.2 He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to HM King George V between 1910 and 1911.2 He was Private Secretary to the First Lord of Admiralty between 1910 and 1912.2 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.)2 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)2 He gained the rank of Rear-Admiral in 1911.2
