     Jacqueline Rosemary Otter is the daughter of Robert John Charles Otter and Gwendoline Ethel Berners.

     Lt.-Col. Robin Otter was born on 7 April 1888. He was the son of Robert Charles Otter and Marianne Eva North. He married Mary Laura Troubridge, daughter of Admiral Sir Ernest Charles Thomas Troubridge and Edith Mary Duffus, on 26 February 1916.¹ He died on 20 May 1965 at age 77.¹
     He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Norfolk Regiment.¹

     Mary Laura Troubridge was born on 13 February 1894.¹ She was the daughter of Admiral Sir Ernest Charles Thomas Troubridge and Edith Mary Duffus.² She married Lt.-Col. Robin Otter, son of Robert Charles Otter and Marianne Eva North, on 26 February 1916.¹ She died in 1982 at Rutland, England.³
     Her married name became Otter.

     Admiral Sir Ernest Charles Thomas Troubridge was born on 15 July 1862.² He was the son of Sir Thomas St. Vincent Hope Cochrane Troubridge, 3rd Bt. and Louisa Jane Gurney.³ He married, firstly, Edith Mary Duffus, daughter of William Duffus, on 29 December 1891.² He married, secondly, Una Vincenzo Taylor, daughter of Harry Ashworth Taylor, on 10 October 1908.³ He died on 28 January 1926 at age 63.³
     He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.)² He was Flag Captain to Commander-in-Chief of the Mediterranean between 1907 and 1908.² He was Commodore of Chatham between 1908 and 1910.² He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to HM King Edward VII between 1909 and 1910.² He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to HM King George V between 1910 and 1911.² He was Private Secretary to the First Lord of Admiralty between 1910 and 1912.² He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.)² He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)² He gained the rank of Rear-Admiral in 1911.²

     Edith Mary Duffus was the daughter of William Duffus. She married Admiral Sir Ernest Charles Thomas Troubridge, son of Sir Thomas St. Vincent Hope Cochrane Troubridge, 3rd Bt. and Louisa Jane Gurney, on 29 December 1891.¹ She died on 10 January 1900.¹
     Her married name became Troubridge.

     William Duffus lived at Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.¹ He lived at Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada^G.

     Una Vincenzo Taylor was the daughter of Harry Ashworth Taylor.¹ She married Admiral Sir Ernest Charles Thomas Troubridge, son of Sir Thomas St. Vincent Hope Cochrane Troubridge, 3rd Bt. and Louisa Jane Gurney, on 10 October 1908.¹ She died on 25 September 1963.¹
     She was awarded the Order of St. Sava of Serbia 4th Class.¹ She was given the name of Margot Elena Gertrude Taylor at birth.¹ Her married name became Troubridge.

     Harry Ashworth Taylor was the son of Sir Henry Taylor and Hon. Theodosia Alicia Ellen Frances Charlotte Spring Rice.¹ He married Minna Gordon Handcock, daughter of Lt.-Col. Hon. Robert French Handcock and Isabella Louisa Gordon, on 2 August 1881.¹ He died on 5 March 1907.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 47th Regiment.¹ He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.)¹

     Sir Henry Taylor married Hon. Theodosia Alicia Ellen Frances Charlotte Spring Rice, daughter of Thomas Spring Rice, 1st Baron Monteagle of Brandon and Lady Theodosia Pery, on 17 October 1839.² He died on 27 March 1886.
     He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.)¹ He lived at The Uplands, Seat Cheen, Surrey, England^G.
