Lt.-Col. Sir Thomas St. Vincent Wallace Troubridge, 5th Bt. usually went by his middle name of St. Vincent.1 He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the King’s Royal Rifle Corps.1 He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1919.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Troubridge, of Plymouth, Devon [G.B., 1799] on 5 December 1938.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in dispatches.1 He was Examiner of Plays, Lord Chamberlain’s Office in 1952.1
