     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery.¹

     Colonel Harington Rivers Stranack was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹

     Lt.-Cdr. Francis Henry Inskip Austen is the son of Reverend Frederick William Austen.¹ He married Pamela Margaret Brocklehurst, daughter of Sir Philip Lee Brocklehurst, 2nd Bt. and Gwladys Murray, on 11 October 1963.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.¹

     Florence Little is the daughter of General Sir Archibald Little and Jane Orme.¹ She married Alfred Brocklehurst, son of Henry Brocklehurst and Anne Fielden, in 1884.¹

     Ernest Arthur Brocklehurst was born on 22 April 1861.¹ He was the son of Henry Brocklehurst and Anne Fielden.¹ He died on 9 June 1899 at age 38.¹
