     Sir Ian Primrose Liston Foulis of Colinton, 13th Bt. was born on 9 August 1937.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. James Alastair Liston Foulis and Kathleen de la Hogue Moran.2 He died on 5 February 2006 at age 68 at Madrid, Spain, killed as a result of a motor accident.3
     He was educated at Stonyhurst College, Blackburn, Lancashire, England.1 He graduated from Cannington Farm Institute, Somerset, EnglandG, with a Diploma of Agriculture.1 He gained the rank of officer between 1957 and 1959 in the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders.1 He was a language tutor between 1959 and 1961 at Madrid, SpainG.1 He succeeded as the 13th Baronet Foulis, of Colinton [N.S., 1634] on 9 October 1961.2 He was a bank executive between 1962 and 1966.1 In 1988 his name was legally changed to Ian Primrose Foulis.1 He lived in 2003 at Edificio Cuzco, Solidad 11, Portal 5–2–C, San Agustin de Guadalix, Madrid, SpainG.1 On his death, his baronetcy became dormant.1
