     Colonel Ion Bridges Hamilton Benn was born on 14 June 1887.¹ He was the son of Sir Ion Hamilton Benn, 1st Bt. and Frances Charlotte Bridges.¹ He married Theresa Dorothy Blacker, daughter of Major Frederick Henry Blacker and Anna Constance Bazalgette, on 20 December 1916.¹ He died on 4 August 1956 at age 69.¹
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.¹ He was educated at New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Durham County Light Infantry.¹ He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1918, where he was mentioned in dispatches.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the 4th Battalion, Norfolk Regiment.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Norfolk.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Norfolk in 1949.¹

     Theresa Dorothy Blacker is the daughter of Major Frederick Henry Blacker and Anna Constance Bazalgette.¹ She married Colonel Ion Bridges Hamilton Benn, son of Sir Ion Hamilton Benn, 1st Bt. and Frances Charlotte Bridges, on 20 December 1916.¹
     From 20 December 1916, her married name became Benn.¹

     Sir Patrick Ion Hamilton Benn, 2nd Bt. was born on 26 February 1922.¹ He was the son of Colonel Ion Bridges Hamilton Benn and Theresa Dorothy Blacker.¹ He married Edel Jørgine Løback, daughter of Colonel Wilhelm Sofus Løback, on 19 June 1959.¹ He died in 1992.²
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in dispatches.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry.¹ He fought in the Korean War between 1951 and 1952.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Benn, of Rollesby, co. Norfolk [U.K., 1920] on 4 August 1956.¹ On his death his title became extinct.²

     Edel Jørgine Løback is the daughter of Colonel Wilhelm Sofus Løback.¹ She married Sir Patrick Ion Hamilton Benn, 2nd Bt., son of Colonel Ion Bridges Hamilton Benn and Theresa Dorothy Blacker, on 19 June 1959.¹
     From 19 June 1959, her married name became Benn.¹

     Colonel Wilhelm Sofus Løback lived at Andenes, Vesteraalen, Norway.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Norwegian Army.¹

     John Patrick Benn was born on 17 June 1964.¹ He is the son of Sir Patrick Ion Hamilton Benn, 2nd Bt. and Edel Jørgine Løback.¹

     Dorothy Hamilton Benn was born on 6 October 1917.¹ She is the daughter of Colonel Ion Bridges Hamilton Benn and Theresa Dorothy Blacker.¹

     Marion Hamilton Benn was born on 4 July 1886.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Ion Hamilton Benn, 1st Bt. and Frances Charlotte Bridges.¹ She married Major Edward George Hugh Power, son of Edward John Power, on 5 April 1913.¹
     From 5 April 1913, her married name became Power.¹

     Hans Hamilton Benn was born on 9 December 1865.¹ He was the son of Reverend John Watkins Benn and Maria Louisa Hamilton.¹ He married Camilla Koncelik, daughter of Richard Koncelik, on 9 July 1894.¹ He died on 26 September 1947 at age 81.¹
