     From 3 September 1887, her married name became Hope.²

     Hugh Lewis Hope was born on 20 June 1897.¹ He was the son of Colonel Lewis Anstruther Hope and Lucy Elizabeth Palmer.² He married Ethel Lilian King, daughter of Sir Henry King, on 9 June 1921.¹ He died on 19 October 1921 at age 24.¹
     He fought in the First World War, and was mentioned in despatches and was wounded three times.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Horse Artillery Reserve of Officers.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹

     Helen Jean Hope was the daughter of Colonel Lewis Anstruther Hope and Lucy Elizabeth Palmer.² She died on 20 February 1952, unmarried.¹

     Anna Margaret Woodcock was born in 1862 at Flamboro, Yorkshire, England.¹ She married John Wesby Norton in 1888 at Bridlington, Yorkshire, England.¹ She died in 1931.¹
