     Ann Sotheby was baptised as a illegitimately in 1771 at Pocklington, Yorkshire, England.¹ She was the daughter of Jane Sotheby.¹ She married Thomas Ringrose in 1793 at Holme-upon-Spalding-Moor, Yorkshire, England.¹
     She was also known as Ann Sotherbee.¹ From 1793, her married name became Ringrose.¹

     William Welby was the son of William Welby and Ellinor Williams.¹ He died in 1704, unmarried.¹
     He was one of 11 Lincolnshire gentlemen mooted for the Order of Royal Oak (which was proposed but not established by King Charles II.)¹

     Norman Harold Verge married Gladys Welby, daughter of Frederick Earle Welby and Janet Ann Henderson, in 1930.¹ He died in 1931.¹
