     He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Freeling, of Ford and Hutchings, co. Sussex [U.K., 1828].

     Elizabeth Annabella Eyre is the daughter of Walpole Eyre and Elizabeth Annabella Johnson. She married Rev. Sir James Robert Freeling, 7th Bt., son of John Clayton Freeling.
     Her married name became Freeling.

     Maj.-Gen. Sir Arthur Henry Freeling, 5th Bt. was born on 26 July 1820 at London, England.² He was the son of John Clayton Freeling and Mary Coxe. He married Charlotte Augusta Rivers, daughter of Rev. Sir Henry Rivers, 9th Bt.. He died on 26 March 1885 at age 64 at London, England.²
     He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Freeling, of Ford and Hutchings, co. Sussex [U.K., 1828]. He held the office of Surveyor-General of South Australia between 1849 and 1861.²

     Charlotte Augusta Rivers is the daughter of Rev. Sir Henry Rivers, 9th Bt. She married Maj.-Gen. Sir Arthur Henry Freeling, 5th Bt., son of John Clayton Freeling and Mary Coxe.
     Her married name became Freeling.

     Emily Charlotte Freeling was the daughter of Charles Rivers Freeling. She married Maj.-Gen. Charles Osbaldeston Lukin, son of Robert Lukin. She died on 6 April 1906.
     Her married name became Lukin.

     Maj.-Gen. Charles Osbaldeston Lukin is the son of Robert Lukin. He married Emily Charlotte Freeling, daughter of Charles Rivers Freeling.

     James Brookes lived at Ellingthorpe Hall, Yorkshire, England.¹

     Mary (?) was born on 7 August 1872.¹ She married Very Rev. James Aitken on 22 May 1899.¹ She died on 10 March 1962 at age 89.¹
     From 22 May 1899, her married name became Aitken.¹

     Sir Robert Aitken was born in 1901 at Wyndham, Southland, New Zealand.² He was the son of Very Rev. James Aitken and Mary (?)¹ He married Margaret Kane in 1929.² He died on 10 April 1997 at Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.²
