     Sir David Baird of Newbyth, 3rd Bt. was born on 26 January 1832.¹ He was the son of Sir David Baird of Newbyth, 2nd Bt. and Lady Anne Kennedy.¹ He married Hon. Ellen Stuart, daughter of Charles Stuart, 12th Lord Blantyre and Lady Evelyn Sutherland-Leveson-Gower, on 15 June 1864.¹ He died on 13 October 1913 at age 81.¹
     He fought in the Kaffir War between 1851 and 1852.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Baird, of Newbyth, co. Haddington [U.K., 1809] on 8 January 1852.¹ He fought in the Crimean War, where he was on the staff of Sir Colin Campbell, Lord Clyde.¹ He fought in the Indian Mutiny, again, on the staff of Sir Colin Campbell.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the 98th Foot.¹ He was Commissioner of Supply at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the 74th Highlanders.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Haddington.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Haddington.¹

     Hon. Ellen Stuart was born on 31 August 1846.² She was the daughter of Charles Stuart, 12th Lord Blantyre and Lady Evelyn Sutherland-Leveson-Gower.¹ She married Sir David Baird of Newbyth, 3rd Bt., son of Sir David Baird of Newbyth, 2nd Bt. and Lady Anne Kennedy, on 15 June 1864.¹ She died on 19 April 1927 at age 80.¹
     Her married name became Baird.

     Sir David Charles Baird of Newbyth, 5th Bt. was born on 6 July 1912.¹ He was the son of William Arthur Baird and Lady Hersey Constance Evelyn Conyngham.¹ He died on 15 November 2000 at age 88, without issue.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Baird, of Newbyth, co. Haddington [U.K., 1809] on 6 January 1941.¹

     Robert Walter Stuart Baird was born on 5 March 1914.¹ He was the son of William Arthur Baird and Lady Hersey Constance Evelyn Conyngham.¹ He married, firstly, Maxine Christine Darrell, daughter of Rupert Darrell, on 21 April 1938.¹ He and Maxine Christine Darrell were divorced in 1960.¹ He married, secondly, Maria Florine Viscart in 1960.¹ He died in 1989.¹
     He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1941, with the Lothian and Border Yeomanry, and was then held as a Prisoner of War.¹

     Maxine Christine Darrell is the daughter of Rupert Darrell.¹ She married Robert Walter Stuart Baird, son of William Arthur Baird and Lady Hersey Constance Evelyn Conyngham, on 21 April 1938.¹ She and Robert Walter Stuart Baird were divorced in 1960.¹
     Her married name became Baird.

     Sir Charles William Stuart Baird of Newbyth, 6th Bt. was born on 8 June 1939.¹ He was the son of Robert Walter Stuart Baird and Maxine Christine Darrell.² He married Jane Joanna Bridge, daughter of Brigadier Arthur Darley Bridge, in March 1965.¹ He died on 14 August 2022 at age 83.³
     He was educated at Switzerland^G.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Baird, of Newbyth, co. Haddington [U.K., 1809] on 15 November 2000.¹ He lived in 2003 at 12 Falstaff Street, Sunnybank Hills, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia^G.¹

     Maria Florine Viscart married Robert Walter Stuart Baird, son of William Arthur Baird and Lady Hersey Constance Evelyn Conyngham, in 1960.¹
     Her married name became Baird.

     Frances Baird was born in 1960.¹ She is the daughter of Robert Walter Stuart Baird and Maria Florine Viscart.¹

     Charles Rupert Buchmayr was born in 1942.¹ He is the son of Siegfried Guido Buchmayr and Hon. Mary Heritage Banbury.¹ He married Katharine (?)¹

     Evelyn Frances Baird was born on 26 October 1908.¹ She was the daughter of William Arthur Baird and Lady Hersey Constance Evelyn Conyngham.¹ She died on 21 February 1957 at age 48, unmarried.¹
