     Captain Robert Boras Whiteside married Hon. Leonore Agnes Watson Nisbet Hamilton, daughter of James Hamilton, 9th Lord Belhaven and Stenton and Georgina Watson, on 24 March 1903.1 He died on 20 April 1915, while on active service.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Army Service Corps.1

James Hamilton, 9th Lord Belhaven and Stenton1

     James Hamilton, 9th Lord Belhaven and Stenton was born on 29 August 1822.2 He was the son of Archibald Hamilton and Mary Clarke.1,2 He married Georgina Watson, daughter of Sir John Watson, 1st Bt. and Agnes Simpson, on 30 October 1877.2 He died on 6 September 1893 at age 71 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG, withou male issue.2
     He succeeded as the 9th Lord Belhaven and Stenton, co. Haddington [S., 1647] on 22 December 1868.2 On 3 August 1875 his title of Lord Belhaven and Stenton was confirmed in his favour by the House of Lords.2
