Thomas Boyd, 1st Earl of Arran1 
His marriage to Mary Stewart, Princess of Scotland was annulled before 26 April 1467.3 He was created 1st Earl of Arran [Scotland] on 26 April 1467.3 He was styled as Master of Boyd.2 In 1469 he went to Denmark to escort Margaret of Denmark to Scotland for her marriage to King James III of Scotland.3 On 22 November 1469 he was attainted, forfeiting his titles and estates.3

David Kennedy, 1st Earl of Cassillis1

He was appointed Knight on 29 January 1487/88 by King James III.2 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Scotland] to King James IV.2 He succeeded as the 3rd Lord Kennedy [S., 1458] between 24 July 1508 and 13 May 1509.2 He was created 1st Earl of Cassillis [Scotland] on 23 October 1509.2 He fought in the Battle of Flodden on 9 September 1513.2
