Sir Michael Shaw-Stewart of Greenock and Blackhall, 5th Bt.1 
He was given the name of Michael Stewart-Nicolson at birth.2 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Renfrewshire.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Stewart, of Greenock and Blackhall, co. Renfrew [N.S., 1667] on 7 August 1812.1 On 7 September 1812 his name was legally changed to Michael Shaw-Stewart on inheriting the Greenock estate.2
