     John Erskine Douglas Shaw-Stewart was born on 13 January 1832.¹ He was the son of Admiral Sir Houston Shaw-Stewart and Martha Miller.² He married Julia Turton, daughter of Reverend Henry Turton and Harriet Elizabeth Northen, on 17 January 1854.¹ He died on 2 August 1870 at age 38.¹

     Caroline Louisa Daly was born in 1836 at Quebec, Canada.¹ She married Henry Hobhouse Turton, son of Reverend Henry Turton and Harriet Elizabeth Northen.¹
     Her married name became Turton.¹

     Julia Turton was baptised on 18 March 1832 at Betley, Staffordshire, England.² She was the daughter of Reverend Henry Turton and Harriet Elizabeth Northen.^3,2 She married John Erskine Douglas Shaw-Stewart, son of Admiral Sir Houston Shaw-Stewart and Martha Miller, on 17 January 1854.¹ She died on 17 September 1899 at age 67.¹
     From 17 January 1854, her married name became Shaw-Stewart.

     Michael Patrick Shaw-Stewart was born in October 1860.¹ He was the son of John Erskine Douglas Shaw-Stewart and Julia Turton.² He married Frances Vesey Montgomery Moore Stewart, daughter of George Vesey Stewart and Margaret Torrens Miller, in 1886.² He died in 1921.¹

     George Vesey Stewart was born on 4 October 1831 at Brighton, Sussex, England.^2,3 He was the son of Mervyn Stewart and Frances Vesey.² He was baptised on 20 January 1832 at Brighton, Sussex, England.³ He married, firstly, Margaret Torrens Miller, daughter of John Rowley Miller and Emily Charlotte Stewart, on 17 April 1856 at Desertlyn, County Londonderry, Ireland.⁴ He married, secondly, Alice Stein in October 1919.² He died on 1 March 1920 at age 88 at Rotorua, New Zealand.^2,4
     He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Tyrone.² He emigrated to Katikati, New Zealand, arriving on 1879.² He was founder of the Stewart Special Settlements of Kati Kati and Te Puke (for emigrants from north of Ireland.)² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) [New Zealand]² He held the office of Mayor of Tauranga.² He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)²

     Frances Vesey Montgomery Moore Stewart was born on 28 March 1864.¹ She was the daughter of George Vesey Stewart and Margaret Torrens Miller.¹ She married Michael Patrick Shaw-Stewart, son of John Erskine Douglas Shaw-Stewart and Julia Turton, in 1886.² She died in 1947.³
     Frances Vesey Montgomery Moore Stewart also went by the nick-name of Fanny.³ From 1886, her married name became Shaw-Stewart.

     John Houston Douglas Shaw-Stewart was born in 1890.¹ He was the son of Michael Patrick Shaw-Stewart and Frances Vesey Montgomery Moore Stewart.² He died in 1903.¹

     George Archdale Shaw-Stewart was born in 1893.¹ He was the son of Michael Patrick Shaw-Stewart and Frances Vesey Montgomery Moore Stewart.² He married Myrtle Wheeler, daughter of John Wheeler, in 1921.¹ He died on 9 July 1959.¹

     John Wheeler lived at Auckland, New Zealand^G.¹

     Myrtle Wheeler was the daughter of John Wheeler.² She married George Archdale Shaw-Stewart, son of Michael Patrick Shaw-Stewart and Frances Vesey Montgomery Moore Stewart, in 1921.¹ She died in 1971.¹
     From 1921, her married name became Shaw-Stewart.
