     Charles Lyell, 3rd Baron Lyell was born on 27 March 1939.¹ He was the son of Captain Charles Antony Lyell, 2nd Baron Lyell, V.C. and Sophie Mary Trafford.² He died on 10 January 2017 at age 77.³
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Lyell, of Kinnordy, co. Forfar [U.K., 1914] on 27 April 1943.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Lyell, of Kinnordy, co. Forfar [U.K., 1894] on 27 April 1943.¹ He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant between 1957 and 1959 in the Scots Guards.¹ He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.¹ He was admitted to the Royal Company of Archers in 1975.¹ He was a chartered accountant.¹ He held the office of Lord-in-Waiting between 1979 and 1984.¹ He was admitted to Parliamentary Under-Secretary, Northern Ireland between 1984 and 1989.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Angus in 1988.¹ He lived in 2003 at Kinnordy, Kirriemuir, Angus, Scotland.¹ On his death, his titles became extinct.

     Archibald Hamilton was the son of Malcolm Hamilton.¹ He married Hon. Anne Balfour, daughter of James Balfour, 1st Lord Balfour, Baron of Glenawley and Grisold Balfour, before 1639.¹ He died on 10 March 1659, without issue.¹
     He lived at Ballygally, County Tyrone, Ireland^G.¹

     Vernon James Watney was the son of James Watney.² He married Lady Gwendolen Margaret Wallop, daughter of Isaac Newton Wallop, 5th Earl of Portsmouth and Lady Eveline Alicia Juliana Herbert, on 3 February 1891.² He died on 27 August 1928.²
     He lived at Cornbury Park, Charlbury, Oxfordshire, England^G.²

     Malcolm Hamilton held the office of Archbishop of Cashel between 1623 and 1629.

     John Reford is the son of Andrew Drummond Reford.¹ He married Diana Rosemary Trafford, daughter of Major Sigismund William Joseph Trafford and Lady Elizabeth Constance Mary Bertie, on 3 March 1951.¹

     Rosemary Rosenvinge is the daughter of Cedric Rosenvinge.¹ She married John Peregrine Bertie, son of Arnaud Albert Bertie and Joan Nelly Sidery, in 1972.¹ She and John Peregrine Bertie were divorced in 1977.¹
     From 1972, her married name became Bertie.

     Thomas Francis Hubbard was born on 25 November 1925.¹ He was the son of Theodore Stephan Hubbard and Lavinia May Bertie.¹ He married Melise Marie de Merindol, daughter of Marquis unknown de Merindol, on 27 November 1954.¹ He died in 1998.¹
     He gained the rank of Sub-Lieutenant between 1943 and 1947 in the Royal Navy.¹ He graduated from Wadham College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹

     Richard Peter Hubbard was born on 2 November 1959.¹ He is the son of Thomas Francis Hubbard and Melise Marie de Merindol.¹

     Mark Fernand Hubbard was born on 31 January 1957.¹ He is the son of Thomas Francis Hubbard and Melise Marie de Merindol.¹
