Forfar [U.K., 1894] on 27 April 1943.1 He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant between 1957 and 1959 in the Scots Guards.1 He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He was admitted to the Royal Company of Archers in 1975.1 He was a chartered accountant.1 He held the office of Lord-in-Waiting between 1979 and 1984.1 He was admitted to Parliamentary Under-Secretary, Northern Ireland between 1984 and 1989.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Angus in 1988.1 He lived in 2003 at Kinnordy, Kirriemuir, Angus, Scotland.1 On his death, his titles became extinct.
