Mary Lister was baptised on 4 November 1704 at Burwell, Lincolnshire, EnglandG.3 She was the daughter of Matthew Lister and Sarah (?)1,3 She married, firstly, Thomas Heardson before 1732.1 She married, secondly, Francis Scott, 2nd Earl of Delorain, son of Maj.-Gen. Henry Scott, 1st Earl of Delorain and Ann Duncombe, on 29 October 1732.1 She died on 16 June 1737 at age 32.3 She was buried at Lincoln Cathedral, Lincoln, Lincolnshire, EnglandG.3
From before 1732, her married name became Heardson.1 After her marriage, Mary Lister was styled as Countess of Delorain on 29 October 1732. From 29 October 1732, her married name became Scott.
