Emily Hobhouse1 
Emily Hobhouse was born on 9 April 1860 at St. Ives, Liskeard, Cornwall, England.1 She was the daughter of Venerable Reginald Hobhouse and Caroline Salusbury-Trelawny.1 She died on 8 June 1926 at age 66 at London, England.1
In 1900 she campaigned for improved conditions in the English run conecentration camps for Boer families during the Boer War.1 She wrote the book The Brunt of War and Where it Fell, published 2007.1
