     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Somerset Yeomanry.¹

     Thomas Ruding Davey held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Wraxall Court, Somerset, England^G.¹

     Thomas Richard Kerrison Davey was born on 28 April 1931. He is the son of Major Richard Edmund Davey and Evelyn Ethel Edwina Houldsworth. He married Caroline Davan Braby, daughter of Cedric Braby and Margaret (?), in September 1966.¹
