     Mary Darcy is the daughter of George Darcy, 2nd Lord Darcy.¹ She married Sir Henry Babington, son of Thomas Babington and Katherine Sacheverell, in 1543.¹
     From 1543, her married name became Babington.¹

     Anthony Babington was born on 24 October 1561.¹ He was the son of Sir Henry Babington and Mary Darcy.¹ He died on 20 September 1586 at age 24 at Tower Hill, London, England, hung, drawn and quartered.¹
     He was convicted of plotting the assassination of Queen Elizabeth I, and conspiring with Mary I of Scotland.¹

     Thomas Babington was baptised on 10 October 1682.² He was the son of Thomas Babington and Margaret Hall.¹ He married Elizabeth Keeling, daughter of Ralph Keeling, in 1711.² He died on 31 July 1745 at age 62.¹

     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He held the office of Sheriff of Leicestershire in 1677.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Leicester between 1685 and 1688.¹ He lived at Rothey Temple, England.²

     Margaret Hall was the daughter of Henry Hall.² She married Thomas Babington, son of Matthew Babington and Anne Hopkins.¹ She died on 12 February 1723/24.²

     Matthew Babington was born on 17 May 1612.¹ He was the son of Thomas Babington and Katherine Kendall.¹ He married Anne Hopkins, daughter of Sampson Hopkins.¹ He died on 27 September 1669 at age 57.¹

     Anne Hopkins was born circa 1615.² She was the daughter of Sampson Hopkins.² She married Matthew Babington, son of Thomas Babington and Katherine Kendall.¹ She died on 7 June 1648.²
     Her married name became Babington.¹

     Thomas Babington was born in 1575.¹ He was the son of Humphrey Babington and Margaret Cave.¹ He married Katherine Kendall, daughter of Humphrey Kendall.¹ He died in 1645.¹
     He lived at Rothley Temple, England.¹

     Katherine Kendall was the daughter of Humphrey Kendall.² She married Thomas Babington, son of Humphrey Babington and Margaret Cave.¹ She died circa 14 September 1645.² She was buried on 17 September 1645 at Rothey Temple, England.²
