     Patrick Plunkett, 6th Lord Dunsany was born after 1544.1 He was the son of Christopher Plunkett, 5th Lord Dunsany and Elizabeth Barnewall.2 He married Ismay Barnewall, daughter of Sir Christopher Barnewall.1 He died on 17 March 1601/2.1
     He succeeded as the 6th Lord Dunsany [I., c. 1462] in 1565.1 He held the office of Governor of the Barony of Kells in 1599.1 In 1600 he helped suppress the uprising.1

     Christopher Plunkett, 7th Lord Dunsany was the son of Patrick Plunkett, 6th Lord Dunsany and Ismay Barnewall.2 He married Madeline Babington, daughter of Sir Henry Babington and Mary Darcy, before 1595.1 He died on 15 December 1603.1
     He succeeded as the 7th Lord Dunsany [I., c. 1462] on 17 March 1601/2.1
