     Amelia Hood Conway married Sir John Halkett of Pitferrane, 7th Bt., son of Admiral Sir Peter Halkett of Pitferrane, 6th Bt. and Elizabeth Todd, on 8 April 1831.¹
     From 8 April 1831, her married name became Halkett.¹

     Sir Peter Arthur Halkett of Pitferrane, 8th Bt. was born on 1 May 1834.¹ He was the son of Sir John Halkett of Pitferrane, 7th Bt. and Amelia Hood Conway.¹ He married Eliza Anna Hill, daughter of Richard Kirwan Hill and Jane Margaret Halkett, on 6 May 1856.¹ He died on 8 March 1904 at age 69, without surviving male issue.¹
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.¹ He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Halkett, of Pitferrane [N.S., 1697] on 5 August 1847.¹ He gained the rank of Ensign in 1851 in the 81st Foot.¹ He gained the rank of Ensign in 1853 in the 42nd Foot.¹ He fought in the Crimean War.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in 1855.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Fifeshire.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Fifeshire.¹ On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.¹

     Eliza Anna Hill is the daughter of Richard Kirwan Hill and Jane Margaret Halkett.¹ She married Sir Peter Arthur Halkett of Pitferrane, 8th Bt., son of Sir John Halkett of Pitferrane, 7th Bt. and Amelia Hood Conway, on 6 May 1856.¹
     From 6 May 1856, her married name became Halkett.¹

     Jane Margaret Halkett was the daughter of Admiral Sir Peter Halkett of Pitferrane, 6th Bt. and Elizabeth Todd.¹ She married Richard Kirwan Hill.¹ She died on 3 May 1857.¹
     Her married name became Hill.¹

     Richard Kirwan Hill married Jane Margaret Halkett, daughter of Admiral Sir Peter Halkett of Pitferrane, 6th Bt. and Elizabeth Todd.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 52nd Regiment.¹

     Lt.-Col. Rowley Richard Conway Hill was born in March 1841.¹ He was the son of Richard Kirwan Hill and Jane Margaret Halkett.¹ He married Blanche Cropper, daughter of Edward Cropper and Hon. Margaret Denman, on 5 March 1878.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 31st Regiment.¹

     Blanche Cropper is the daughter of Edward Cropper and Hon. Margaret Denman.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Rowley Richard Conway Hill, son of Richard Kirwan Hill and Jane Margaret Halkett, on 5 March 1878.¹
     From 5 March 1878, her married name became Hill.¹

     Georgiana Sprowie is the daughter of George Sprowie.¹ She married General Sir Alexander Halkett, son of Sir John Wedderburn Halkett of Pitferrane, 4th Bt. and Mary Hamilton.¹
     Her married name became Halkett.¹

     George Sprowie gained the rank of Captain in the 16th Regiment.¹

     Mary Wedderburn is the daughter of Alexander Wedderburn and Mary Deas.¹ She married George Cheape, son of Henry Cheape, 2nd of Rossie, in 1716.¹
     From 1716, her married name became Cheape.¹
