Philip Leyland Kindersley and Violet Valerie Gwendolen French, on 5 May 1973.1 She and Christian Philip Kindersley were divorced in 1991.1 She married, secondly, Major Richard Nicholas Bethell, 6th Baron Westbury, son of David Allan Bethell, 5th Baron Westbury and Ursula Mary-Rose James.2
     After her marriage, Hilary Louise Guard was styled as Baroness Westbury. Her married name became Bethell.2 From 5 May 1973, her married name became Kindersley.1
