     Catherine Grace Douglas was born on 19 November 1903.¹ She was the daughter of Robert Keith Douglas and Louisa Mary Ripley.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Jack Walter Hallowes in February 1929.¹ She died on 7 February 1959 at age 55.¹

     Violet Douglas Daniell was the daughter of C. J. Daniell.¹ She married John Campbell Douglas, son of Charles Irvine Douglas and Margaret Elizabeth Holmested, on 7 February 1910.¹ She died in 1972.¹
