     He gained the rank of Vice-Admiral of the Red in 1849.¹

     Frances Jones married Vice-Admiral Archibald Duff, 7th of Drummuir, son of Alexander Duff of Davidson and Magdalen Duff.¹
     She lived at Guestling, Sussex, England.¹ Her married name became Duff.¹

     Ellen Susan Williams is the daughter of Hon. Charles Platt Williams.¹ She married, firstly, David Edward Staltei before 1937.¹ She married, secondly, John Beauchamp Gordon-Duff, son of Archibald Hay Gordon-Duff and Lady Frances Blanche Fortescue, on 9 November 1937.¹
     From before 1937, her married name became Staltei.¹ From 9 November 1937, her married name became Gordon-Duff.¹

     Hon. Charles Platt Williams lived at Lyons, New York, U.S.A.¹

     David Edward Staltei married Ellen Susan Williams, daughter of Hon. Charles Platt Williams, before 1937.¹ He died before 1937.¹

     Archibald Gordon-Duff was born in August 1939.¹ He was the son of John Beauchamp Gordon-Duff and Ellen Susan Williams.¹ He died circa 1940, in infancy.¹

     Frances Elizabeth Gordon-Duff was born on 24 October 1940.¹ She is the daughter of John Beauchamp Gordon-Duff and Ellen Susan Williams.¹ She married Edward William Eden Andrewes, son of E. D. E. Andrewes, on 4 April 1964.¹
     From 4 April 1964, her married name became Andrewes.¹

     Edward William Eden Andrewes is the son of E. D. E. Andrewes.¹ He married Frances Elizabeth Gordon-Duff, daughter of John Beauchamp Gordon-Duff and Ellen Susan Williams, on 4 April 1964.¹

     E. D. E. Andrewes lived at Stockton House, Worcestershire, England.¹
