     Robert Balfour, 5th Lord Balfour of Burleigh was the son of Robert Balfour, 4th Lord Balfour of Burleigh and Margaret Melville.¹ He died circa March 1757, unmarried.¹ He was buried on 20 March 1757 at Grey Friars, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹
     On 4 August 1709 he was tried for the murder of Henry Stenhouse, schoolmaster of Inverkeithing, who married Janet Thompson (his sister’s governess), to whom he was attached.¹ On 29 November 1709 he was sentinced to be beheaded but escaped by changing clothes with his sister.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Lord Balfour of Burleigh, co. Kinross [S., 1607] in July 1713.¹ In 1715 he took part in the Uprising of 1715.¹ On 13 November 1715 he was attainted, with his lands and title forfeited, as he did not surrender.¹ He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.²
     

     Dimitri Perevostchikov was born on 24 June 1919. He was the son of Petr Dimitrievich Perevostchikov and Countess Elizabeta Alekseievna Belevskya-Zhukovskya. He married Marina Ourousova in 1944 at Paris, France^G. He and Marina Ourousova were divorced in 1947. He died on 23 August 1960 at age 41 at Paris, France^G.

     Marina Ourousova married Dimitri Perevostchikov, son of Petr Dimitrievich Perevostchikov and Countess Elizabeta Alekseievna Belevskya-Zhukovskya, in 1944 at Paris, France^G. She and Dimitri Perevostchikov were divorced in 1947.
     Her married name became Perevostchikov.

     Maria Perevostchikov was born on 27 December 1917 at Odessa, Ukraine^G. She was the daughter of Petr Dimitrievich Perevostchikov and Countess Elizabeta Alekseievna Belevskya-Zhukovskya. She married Lucien Teissier in May 1944 at Paris, France^G. She and Lucien Teissier were divorced. She died on 1 August 1990 at age 72.
     Her married name became Teissier.

     Lucien Teissier was born on 22 August 1908. He married Maria Perevostchikov, daughter of Petr Dimitrievich Perevostchikov and Countess Elizabeta Alekseievna Belevskya-Zhukovskya, in May 1944 at Paris, France^G. He and Maria Perevostchikov were divorced.

     Alexis Teissier was born on 27 August 1946 at Paris, France^G. He is the son of Lucien Teissier and Maria Perevostchikov. He married Allana Chesebro in 1972 at Los Angeles, California, U.S.A.^G. He and Allana Chesebro were divorced in 1980.

     Allana Chesebro married Alexis Teissier, son of Lucien Teissier and Maria Perevostchikov, in 1972 at Los Angeles, California, U.S.A.^G. She and Alexis Teissier were divorced in 1980.
     Her married name became Teissier.

     Marie Beatrice Teissier was born between 10 March 1950 and 1951 at Paris, France^G. She is the daughter of Lucien Teissier and Maria Perevostchikov.

     Hon. Margaret Balfour was the daughter of Robert Balfour, 4th Lord Balfour of Burleigh and Margaret Melville.¹ She died on 12 March 1769 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G, unmarried.¹ She was buried at Canongate, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹
     She would have succeeded to the Barony Balfour of Burleigh, but for her brother’s attainder.¹

     Hon. Mary Balfour was the daughter of Robert Balfour, 4th Lord Balfour of Burleigh and Margaret Melville.¹ She married Brig.-Gen. Alexander Bruce, son of Brig.-Gen. James Bruce, 6th of Kennet and Mary Swinton, on 6 August 1714.^1,2 She died on 7 November 1758.¹
     From 6 August 1714, her married name became Bruce.¹
