     Lady Evelyn Barbara Balfour was born on 16 July 1898.¹ She is the daughter of Gerald William Balfour, 2nd Earl of Balfour and Lady Elizabeth Edith Bulwer-Lytton.¹

     Lady Kathleen Constance Blanche Balfour was born in 1912.¹ She was the daughter of Gerald William Balfour, 2nd Earl of Balfour and Lady Elizabeth Edith Bulwer-Lytton.¹ She married Richard Charles Oldfield, son of Sir Francis Du Pré Oldfield, on 23 August 1933.¹ She died on 20 August 1996.¹
     From 23 August 1933, her married name became Lady Oldfield.¹ She graduated from Newnham College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1934 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ She graduated from Newnham College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1949 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹

     Richard Charles Oldfield was the son of Sir Francis Du Pré Oldfield.¹ He married Lady Kathleen Constance Blanche Balfour, daughter of Gerald William Balfour, 2nd Earl of Balfour and Lady Elizabeth Edith Bulwer-Lytton, on 23 August 1933.¹ He died on 27 April 1972.¹
     He was Honorary Professor at University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹

     Thomas Lindsay was the son of Reverend Thomas M. Lindsay and Anna Colquhoun-Stirling-Murray-Dunlop.¹ He died on 27 December 1967.¹
