     Francis Buchan-Sydserff was born in 1756.¹ He died in 1820.¹
     He was given the name of Francis Buchan at birth.¹

     Elizabeth Douglas Cunningham was born on 8 April 1835 at Prestonpans, East Lothian, Scotland.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend William Bruce Cunningham and Cecilia Margaret Douglas.^2,1 She married General Sir Robert Cadell, son of Hugh Francis Cadell and Janet Marion Sydserff, on 26 November 1889 at Belfast, County Antrim, Ireland.¹ She died on 17 June 1910 at age 75 at 19 Hatton Place, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.¹
     From 26 November 1889, her married name became Cadell.²

     Reverend William Bruce Cunningham was born on 13 April 1806 at Musselburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.² He married Cecilia Margaret Douglas, daughter of unknown daughter Craigie.² He died on 2 August 1878 at age 72 at Free Church Manse, Prestopans, East Lothian, Scotland.²

     Matilda Grace Tovey was born in 1828.¹ She is the daughter of Alexander Tovey.¹ She married, firstly, Maj.-Gen. Alexander Henry Edwardstone Boileau, son of Thomas Boileau and Leah Jessop, on 5 September 1850 at St. John, Paignton, Devon, England.¹ She married, secondly, Lt.-Gen. Alexander Cadell, son of John Cadell and Jane Dunlop, on 21 January 1864 at Calcutta, India.¹ She died on 18 February 1905 at Plymouth, Devon, England.¹
     From 5 September 1850, her married name became Boileau.¹ From 21 January 1864, her married name became Cadell.¹
