Sir Francis D’Arcy Cooper, 1st Bt. usually went by his middle name of D’Arcy.1 He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.1 He was a partner with Cooper Brothers & Company in 1910.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was badly wounded on the Somme.1 He gained the title of 1st Baronet Cooper [U.K.] in 1941.1 On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1
